Planetarium in Orbit

Doctor Death trumpets his dominion over the mythical Lakemich Monster and his theft of the planet Mars.  He flaunts his evasion of law enforcement and pines to capture Elaine Ecdysiast.

In search of the essence of Earth, Doctor Death and a platoon of his henchmen storm a lakeside planetarium. Over the sound of submachine gun fire, the Doctor describes his pursuits in mad science to a group of shocked observers.

Doctor Death recognizes Elaine and her boyfriend, Brick, in the crowd.  Elaine and Brick cast themselves as a counterbalance to the Doctor’s evil plan and quibble with him over his lapses in memory.   

The Doctor dismisses Elaine and Brick and focuses his attention on a model of the solar system.  Believing the colored spheres to contain the essence of the planets, Doctor Death makes a show of seizing Earth. He confuses Earth with Mars and asks Elaine’s assistance.  Elaine points out the blue orb, but Doctor Death, suspecting deceit, pockets the red.  Brick demands that the villain return Mars to its place.
