Easter Sunday
Reverend Dobson, taking a moment away from his Easter Sunday services, sits on a park bench. He reflects on the beauty of his surroundings and on the glory of God.
The priest’s reverie is interrupted by the approach of a tall and striking stranger. Dobson finds himself intrigued by the man’s aristocratic bearing and pronounced limp.
Sitting down beside the priest, the man places his head in his hands. Curious about his new companion, Dobson asks the stranger’s view on Easter. The man replies that he despises the holiday as it reminds him of his exile.
