25. The Inn of Lost Loves

Passing through Nessus, Severian, Agia, and Dorcas arrive at an inn on the boundary of the Sanguinary Field.  Agia points out the looming Wall of the city and Dorcas clings to Severian in fear.  

On entering the inn, the trio is greeted by the proprietor, Abban.  Severian secures a room and orders a meal.  Abban indicates that the hotel serves the combatants and spectators of the battles on the Sanguinary Field.
