20. At Sea

A dubious Zelda listens to Cassie relay her encounter with Hanga and her treatment by the natives as high queen of their island kingdom.  Cassie recounts a warning from Hanga about the threat posed by the Storm King to Reis and his rule.  Overcome with emotion, Cassie recalls Hanga’s sudden disappearance and the drowning of a tourist by shark attack.  Disturbed, Zelda drops from the call.

Cassie dreams of danger beneath the waves.  She rises from bed and exits to a private garden, where she greets five winged humanoids.  The creatures reassure Cassie of their friendship and confirm her fear of the otherworldly Storm King.   

On a call with Sharon, Cassie refuses to disclose her location and dodges questions about Rosenquist and Reis.

A receptionist announces the arrival of King Kanoa to escort Cassie to the royal island of Takanga Ha’i.  Hiapo brings Cassie to the lobby, where Kanoa awaits with his entourage.  Kanoa bows deeply and lavishes praise on the high queen.
